I've been an artist for as long as I can remember, but setting up all my supplies and cleaning up afterwards can be quite time-consuming. With a day job and writing books, along with family responsibilities, finding time to paint can be a challenge. Thankfully, I have my iPad and can create digital art in the evenings. It took me several attempts before I settled on the style that I wanted to use for illustrating my book. You would think drawing / painting something this simple would be easy and quick to do, but quite the opposite. I think this took me about 10 hours to finish.
At the end of the video, you'll hear a short audio clip.
This illustrated children’s book will have 32 pages in all. Imagine a square book, with a fold in the middle of the picture.
I’ll be publishing the book once it is ready. Which may take a while, as life happens…

P.S. If you read books to the children - do they prefer real books or ebooks?
